Over the years people have learned that article marketing can be the solution for increased website traffic and search engine results. Many webmasters have seen the positive results that articles have had for the success of their sites. Some have even designed sites completely devoted to providing articles that could be read by their website visitors and have links that lead to many other sites that are related to the subjects of the articles.
As an example, these websites often feature several articles about a great variety of topics. When a visitor reads the articles they have searched for, they can discover at the end of the article a resource box that can contain a link to a different website. Naturally the website linked would be related to the article. Lets say the article is about the vending machine business, then the resource box may have a link that points to a website or blog that sells vending machines.
A resource box is usually found at the end of an article. Often they will have the name of the author, the author’s bio, a brief description of the sponsoring site and a hyperlink. If a reader liked the article, they’ll have the interest to find out where the article came from and to read more. The resource box can be their link to the source of the article and this will entice them to go to the site and do some more reading or research for the subject or topic they are interested in.
Like the article itself, the resource box has to be eye-catching to tickle the action of the reader. While the resource box contains only a small space, providing the right keywords and content for your resource box will provide more motivation for the reader to click the link to your website or blog.
Now we know what resource boxes are, but what are the reasons for having a good resource box? Mainly its for driving visitors to your site. Many sites will allow articles to be placed on their sites because they can utilize other peoples articles to provide content. By providing the article, when people click on your resource box, you will get traffic that can be counted upon as potential customers.
So what is good information for your resource box? Basically it should be keywords designed to make readers want to discover more. Almost always the best are ones that continue the pace of the article yet leave the reader thirsty for additional information. An effective example contains a call to action sentence such as “To learn more about vending machines and ways you can profit by having your own please visit…” and then provide a link back to your site that contains your target keyword phrase.
Resource boxes can also make use of all the creativity they can get. You only get a small space for your resource box so get the most of it. Never forget the power of the resource box. They may be small but they could attract a significant amount of visitors to your site. A boring resource box will never get job done. Be fun and creative but most of all show that you have a great deal more to offer and watch your visitor results soar!
